Kamajab – Arrival and Departure to Ekuku

4 hours, 0 minutes, 375 kilometers (230 miles)

What’s in a day?

Turns out, Ann’s Lodge was the perfect place. After tipping my bike back up – which by they was a fucking miracle in and of itself – and then waking up everyone to find the security guard, getting to my room, and getting the mosquito net setup, washing myself and my clothes – I was done.

The final moonshot as I rode in…

Morning already? For those of you who don’t know me, I hate mosquitos. Somehow, even with my tinnitus, I can hear them! Luckily, I came prepared and was able to keep them at bay.

What a Great Ass

Yeah, I woke up to this honker! That’s a white donkey just outside my window.

Breakfast of Champions

They really took care of me. Thank you, thank you!

Noticeably absent was the flag of good ‘ole US&A.

Don’t blame them one bit!

Said goodbye to my chalet…

Back on the Road

Wait, not more sand, gravel, river rock, dirt, dunes, or all of the aforementioned?

Police

Quick stop by the Namibian Police to just say hi! Great people in this country.

Giraffes

Just Get There Already!

The arrival ended with me looking at my display which read 21 hours of riding in the past 30 hours. Time for some rest?
