Last stop in Namibia
I had to pick a place that was somewhat close to the border, but not too close. I did my research and Ekuku seemed like a great pick. My only fear was that it would be too far, given the state of roads, that I would be late to the border and it would be a mess.

Found a great little spot on booking.com, quickly realized that the closer you get to Angola, the harder it is to use credit cards. Not a big deal, now…
Josef and his family greeted to a fantastic stay at his wonderful guesthouse lodging.

He also recommended a local place for some food – Oshakati Guesthouse. I am always surprised to see German cuisine on the menu everywhere in this part of the world….

BTW, lighting they use in most of the south african continent is 10,000 Kelvin, which is really annoying! Someone please change this.

I had the garlic snails, some Bobotie cigars, and a spicy (not) burger with chips. The last burger I had was in Port Elizabeth with Ryan and his dad, and it was pretty good!

Does the onion ring topper look like a pile of poo, or is it just me?
Josef’s neighbor cabbies, so he picked me up and I headed back for the night.

Nice little neighborhood!
Good night!
